Purnam is an AI-native parenting companion for modern Indian families, operated from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
These Terms cover purnamhq.com, the Purnam WhatsApp community, our parenting programmes, sessions and 1-on-1 support, and our written content (together, the "Service"). By using any of them, you agree to these Terms.
The Purnam AI companion is in closed pilot and is governed by separate terms provided to pilot participants. It is not covered here.
You must be 18 or older. The Service is for parents, guardians, and other caregivers, and is not intended for use by children. If you share information about a child, you confirm you are that child's parent or lawful guardian.
Purnam offers parenting support: focused programmes and curricula on specific parenting topics, group and 1-on-1 sessions, a moderated community, and written guidance.
Purnam does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment; psychological, psychiatric, or mental-health treatment; therapy or counselling by a licensed professional; paediatric care; legal or financial advice; or emergency services.
Nothing on Purnam substitutes for care from a qualified professional. Please consult a doctor, paediatrician, psychologist, or other qualified professional about your child's health, development, or wellbeing, and don't delay professional advice because of something you read or heard from us.
If a child is in immediate danger, or anyone in your family is at risk of harm, contact emergency services or a qualified professional right away. Purnam is not monitored for emergencies.
Every child and every family is different. What Purnam offers is general guidance for you to consider and adapt using your own judgment as the parent — not a prescription, and not a promise of any particular result. You remain responsible for the decisions you make about your child.
You keep ownership of everything you share with us. By sharing it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it to provide the Service to you and to improve Purnam. Where we use what we learn for improvement or examples, we do so in de-identified form that does not identify you, your child, or your family.
Please don't share content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing, and don't share another person's personal information without their consent.
The Purnam community and group sessions are moderated spaces. By taking part you agree to keep what other parents share confidential, treat others with respect, refrain from promotion or solicitation, and refrain from giving medical or clinical advice to other members.
We may remove any member, at our discretion, for conduct that undermines the safety of the space.
Parts of the Service are currently offered free of charge. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including free initiatives and pilots, at any time.
If we introduce paid programmes, pricing and payment terms will be presented separately at the point of enrolment, and these Terms will be updated.
The Purnam name, logo, written content, curricula, frameworks, and website design belong to us. You may read and share our public content with attribution and a link. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit it without written permission.
The Service relies on and links to third-party services — messaging and community platforms, cloud and content providers, and social and publishing channels, among others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purnam and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purnam and its operators against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
